AutoMarketIQ ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website at automarketiq.com and related services (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Service.
1. Information we collect
Account information. When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, dealership name, and zip code. Payment information is collected and processed directly by Stripe; we do not store credit card numbers.
Transaction data. AutoMarketIQ aggregates verified buyer-submitted new-car transaction records through our sister platform, CarWhere. Buyer personally identifiable information (name, address, SSN, driver’s license number, lender account numbers) is automatically redacted before any dealer subscriber can view the data.
Usage data. We collect standard web analytics data (pages visited, features used, browser type, IP address) to improve the Service.
2. How we use your information
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
- Process your subscription and billing via Stripe
- Send transactional emails (signup confirmation, receipts, trial reminders)
- Improve product features and user experience
- Respond to support requests
- Comply with legal obligations
3. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- Stripe — payment processing
- Supabase — database hosting (data stored in the United States)
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- Vercel — application hosting
We may also disclose information when required by law, such as in response to a court order or subpoena.
4. Buyer data and PII redaction
Transaction records sourced from CarWhere undergo automated PII redaction before storage. Buyer names, addresses, phone numbers, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, and lender account numbers are stripped from both structured data and deal sheet images. Dealer subscribers never see buyer-identifying information.
5. Data retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you close your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest (Supabase), access controls, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing info@automarketiq.com. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service.
